JSON.fit is a fitness and nutrition app, built and operated by Ryan Novinc (a sole trader based in Australia), that helps you build and track training programs and meal plans. It works on a "bring your own AI" model: you answer a few questions, the app generates a prompt, you paste that prompt into an AI service of your choice (such as ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini), and you import the result back into the app to track it. JSON.fit is free to use. There are no subscriptions and no in-app purchases — all features, including the full nutrition and meal-planning tools, are available at no cost. We do not process or store any payment information.
Your workout routines, meal plans, health information and other personal fitness data are stored locally on your device — we do not collect or upload them. To improve the app and website we collect anonymous, non-identifying usage analytics, and we don't show ads or sell your data. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
JSON.fit does not include or run its own AI. To build a custom plan, you choose and use a separate, third-party AI service (for example ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or DeepSeek). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, not ours, and any account or fees for them are between you and that provider.
AI-generated plans are produced by those third-party services, can contain errors or omissions, and are general information only — not medical, dietary or professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing anything an AI generates before relying on it, and for deciding whether it is appropriate for you.

You agree to use the app for your own personal fitness and nutrition purposes. Please don't attempt to reverse engineer, modify, resell or redistribute the app, or use it in any unlawful way.
The JSON.fit app, website, branding and content are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. Plans and data you create for yourself remain yours.
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, for fitness tracking and nutrition planning. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any injury, health issue, allergic reaction, nutritional deficiency, or loss arising from your use of the app or of any plan it helps generate. You acknowledge that fitness and nutrition needs are highly individual and that our content may not be suitable for your specific circumstances. Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights or guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot lawfully be excluded.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Australian Capital Territory and the Commonwealth of Australia. Where you use the app in another country, you remain responsible for complying with any local laws that apply to you.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last Updated" date above, and continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
